Full-Time Animal Health Representative (Inside Sales & Marketing Position)

Air-Tite Products Co., Inc. is seeking a motivated, talented individual who possesses the skill set to advance market share as our new Inside Sales & Marketing Animal Heath Representative covering distribution partners, commercial industry (breeders, farms, pharmaceuticals), and veterinary practices from our Virginia Beach, VA location. This high visibility position will be critical in continuing success of the company and will cover sales throughout the US as well as International opportunities.

Air-Tite has been in business since 1926.  We specialize in the importation, distribution, and sales of specialty hypodermic products for the human healthcare, animal health, and laboratory industries.  A small company, located in beautiful Virginia Beach, VA, we are seeking to expand our team by adding talented, innovative contributors. 


What you’ll do:

  • Primarily responsible for the Animal Health market and customer base.
  • Account management of multi-million-dollar distribution network.
  • Expand portfolio of products carried by each distributor
  • Product line and distributor pricing responsibilities
  • Identify gaps in product portfolio and identify potential suppliers to fill gaps.
  • Propose budget for covered accounts annually.
  • Develop relationships at Key Accounts, troubleshoot issues, identify gaps, offer ongoing support to salesforce, create relevant marketing material.
  • Evaluate potential new distribution partners and establish pricing.
  • Work with and train Customer Service Representatives to develop appropriate messaging regarding products and promotions.
  • Manage projects for large-scale opportunities and custom solutions.
  • Identify market opportunities within all Animal Health verticals
  • Generate marketing material, branding and messaging.
  • Utilize Financial, Inventory, and CRM system to generate various reports.
  • Travel to attend multiple (4-8) tradeshows or sales meetings annually
  • May require international travel for suppliers or customers
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, regulatory information, and quality surveys.

 What you’ll bring (Minimum Requirements):

  • College degree
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, key accounts, marketing, or product development
  • Must be a team player
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Must have strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Current passport or ability to obtain passport.  REAL ID needed for air travel.

These would be nice too (Knowledge Skills and Abilities):

  • MBA or equivalent in experience valued
  • Bilingual Spanish / English highly preferred
